I look at Michael Vick and I see one of the most physically blessed people to EVER walk the Earth. More so than even the mythological Adam from the Bible. Michael Vick was going to be the breakthrough in the “non-existent” barrier between Black and White quarterbacks. No one says it’s there except me… Here’s a guy who can run 4.2 on the 40 yard dash and throw the ball a fucking mile. Wow, I sounded like John Madden right there. His combination of speed, agility, game presence and arm strength/accuracy has never been seen before and no one has proved that they are even in his league. Sure Ben Letsrapethisfurburger can pop off for a 60-90 yard rushing performance every once in a while. Donovon McNabb has cracked over 100 yards rushing in a game and made it to a Super Bowl. Michael Vick was 10x’s the player of both of these clowns combined. That’s how enamored I was with Michael Vick, just 3 short years ago.
Ok, enough of my slurping this dude. Michael Vick was good. There’s no doubting that. The question is, has he paid his debt to society, yet? 20 months out of a 24 month sentence for funding a dogfighting evil empire for 7 years out of his backyard. That’s what we know about. 7 years of dogtorture = 20 months in prison. Sleeping with 1 high school freshman and your locked up for 10 years, pal.

That’s just a quick comparison of crimes. One count of Satuatory Rape is a hell of a lot worse than torturing, maiming and killing innocent animals in inhumane ways for 7 years only gets you 20 months. Ok we set on that? So this is when I hear: “He paid his debts. He went to jail. He was a class act about it. Let him play ball now. The judge gave him a fair and just penalty, why would Roger Goodell add to it?”

Let’s go through Michael’s legal problems since he’s been an NFL Player and ask yourself: “If I did this at my job, would I be fired?” the entire time. Remember, this is his FUCKING JOB!!! He should be fired from this job. And I just get worked up over it because I hate anyone defending this clownshoe.
- In 2001 conflicting stories from estranged parents said there was dogfighting at their home and then they said there wasn’t any.
- In 2004 two men were arrested for selling weed, in a truck that was registered to Michael Vick.
- In 2004 Vick and friends stole a Rolex watch from an airport security screener. Billy “White Shoes” Johnson “made the problem go away”. But a police report was filed.
- In 2005 Vick was taken to civil court where a woman claimed he knowingly gave her herpees and failed to inform her that he had the disease. The infamous start up of “Ron Mexico”
- In 2006, Michael Vick flipped off the New Orleans Saints fans because he was being booed
- In 2007 Vick was caught at an airport and they found a secret compartment in his waterbottle that contained weed “jewelry” according to Michael Vick
- Lied to the feds about the dog fighting
- Lied to Roger Goodell about Dogfighting
- Got caught with pot while awaiting his sentence for the dogfighting

Ok. Now, after all of that… Do you re-instate this guy? This cancer? He’s a fucking dumpster fire. He’s too wild and has too much love for the ghetto to turn into that prototypical QB that the NFL wants to sell products with. He’ll never be Peyton Manning on credit card commercials. Vick was asked who he agrees with in Plaxico’s case and he just said “The gun”.
Michael Vick is a scum bag. Plain and simple. This guy has had plenty of chances already. If I’m Goodell, I suspend him for a year. Why? Because he lied to me. That’s all. Simply because he lied to me. That’s how Goodell should do it. And then next time a situation happens he damn sure knows he’ll get the truth and can start playing cover-up with his league. He won’t have to hear it through the media and third parties. You bet your ass Tank Johnson will be on both knees tickling his balls to try to make things right.
I actually have sympathy for big Rog. He has a couple tough decisions. He has that with Vick and then has to go on Donte Stallworth who served 20 days in jail for destroying a human being. Then soon after he has to deal with Plax’s gun charges. So this is a stressfull time for him. Let me make a quick suggestion: SHIP THEIR BROKE ASSES TO THE UFL! Let them play with Losman and Archuleta. Those ticket sales will go up and then they can continue to play the game they love at 1/8th the salary. And then they can see if they love it that much. If they want to come back they can crawl and beg at Big Daddy Goodell’s feet.
In all seriousness, I need to clarify because I hate when people complain without offering a solution. My solution to the Vick problem is that he gets a year suspension. Let him work out, he can play AFL, CFL, UFL, The European league, etc. Is the Euro-League still around? Whatever he wants to get in shape and make a few bucks while proving he can be a human who can respectively live in society. Then Vick can return to the NFL and play football and the healing can begin. I’d even have snipers on the roof aimed at PETA if it got Vick to bring in a bajillion dollars to the NFL.
